At the moment there are several ways to pass the data from datamanager to view. Mostly this is simply done by selecting the acording dataset. We decided that this should be the standard way. Secondly the view should tell the user which data is needed/optional via a frame in the upper part of the view. Every view should employ such a frame. Buttons that start a process should be deactivated if the necessary data is not selected!
The "Stochastic Tracking" view can be used as a design template. The labels on the right should disply the name of the selected data node or "-" if nothing is selected. Screenshot attached.
