The screenshot maker and movie maker views depend on the stdmultiwidget, e.g. the string id-s of the render windows is hard-coded in their source code.

The plugin should be decoupled from stdmultiwidget so that it can be used with other viewers, as far as they provide an axial, sagittal, coronal and 3D window. There are abstract functions to access the currently active editor, and the individual 2D or 3D windows, so this should be possible and fairly easy to do.
