When activating the "Surface 2D. Draw normals" using the image MITK-Data/ball.stl some vectors were not normal to the surface.
Moreover, when moving close to the edge of the ball in one 2D view, the normals partially started to point inwards (vs outwards before) and vice-versa if you show the inverse normals.

This is not a bug, as the polygon normals are shown but their intersection with the 2D view slice can't be at the perfect center of all polygons in that slice. The inward vs. outward normals is most probably an issue in the stl file.
