Generally this is still valid as it was only done in one plugin to show the idea behind it. We need to check if this is still a problem.

Tested it with Ubuntu and Qt 5.7 on an older master. It works.
Recently, due to T24011, Qt 5.10 is needed for successfully display the plugin (independent of the OS)

If it is allready merged I think fixing T19437 gets more important, doesn't it? Currently the new default handling would handle some data sets in an other way then before (e.g. some dynamic data is read incorrectly).

Probably, the dicom folder read implementation was a bit cobbled together and could probably use some more thought.

What about this task? Could we add these changes to the master branch?

You have to have a 3D+t AND a 3D image in the datamanager (the second of which is the base image for the segmentation)

Yeah I know. I found your work in T23281. pretty cool! :-)
Pushed new branch T23342-MICCAI_2017_Tutorial.
Changes related to the tutorial workbench version should be integrated in the following branch
Besides, complement the gitbook for MICCAI tutorial.
FYI, there's a magic theme color that is replaced by the according color of a theme when loading an icon from a SVG resource. This magic color is maximum intensity green: #00ff00. For example, when doing FontAwesome-style icons, they shouldn't be black anymore. Instead use #00ff00 as fill color. If a theme doesn't provide a substitute for the magic icon color, they will be colored black by default when loaded by MITK.
Icons ideas:
- Image Navigator: fa-sliders + adding a slider below
- DICOM Browser: fa-circle with different grey values (attention dark and white theme)
- Property List: fa-file-text with fa-search
- Pointset: fa-map-pin (rotated(?))
- Segmentation Utilities: fa-wrench + ?
Pushed new branch T23334-create-dicomseg-mime-type.
First step:
- load all images from a SR into MITK with the current available readers
