Check if currently active render window part has a 3d render window

This is a workaround for the new mxn multi widget: The new multi widget
does not necessaily hold a 3d render window. In order to compare the
bounding boxes, a 3d render window is needed. This is only available in
the StdMultiWidget so reinitializing always needs to be done with the
StdMultiWidget.
