The DW Registration consists in general of two main processing parts:

1. an infrustructure for detecting necessary registration tasks, and the management of such ( configuration of moving/fixed images, metrics etc. )
2. a pyramid-registration scheme by ITK methods to perform the identified registration tasks

The point (2) should be replaced by a call to the MatchPoint method to allow also other tools (Plastimatch, Elastix) in the registration backend .
