gcc version should be specified in single documentation location
Closed, WontfixPublic

Description

Currently there are multiple pages suggesting multiple gcc versions

it could be here: http://docs.mitk.org/nightly/BuildInstructionsPage.html
or here: http://www.mitk.org/wiki/Developer_Tutorial_(Ubuntu)

and this page could be probably deleted : http://mitk.org/wiki/MITK_MinGW_Compatibility (since it is one of the first pages popping up when searching)

The developer tutorial is fine, though, as it is explicitly related to the 2016.03 release. This also holds true for the documentation for 2016.03. But yes, we should pay more attention to the current master documentation when changing something related to compiler versions.

+1 for deleting the MinGW page, even if it states that it is out-dated.
