"Show contour" does not show a connecting line for a point set in 3D

Description

When selecting the property "show contour" for a pointset, the connecting line is only shown in the 2D rederwindow but not in the 3D view.

Is rendered after "Vertex Rendering" property was toggled off and on again or another point is added to the set. Most probably this is another modification time checking issue in the 3d mapper...
