On free testing the paint tool:

Data used: DCE MRI 4D prostate.

Sometimes the reverse of the “Paint” tool acts like the “Erase”tool rather than the wipe one.

Steps:

1. Load image from DCE MRI 4D prostate.
2. Create new segmentation
3. Select paint tool
4. Draw a line across a slice
5. Hold Ctrl and try to delete half the line: Whole line disappears

To reproduce similar issue:

1. Create new segmentation
2. Draw a line across a slice, release mouse
3. Draw another line parallel to that.
4. Hold Ctrl and try to delete half the line: Weird things happen, 1.5 lines are gone.

For the wipe tool:

1. Doesn’t show outline of what you draw and the segmentation takes a second to appear after you release the mouse.
2. If you just click and never drag,no segmentation appears.
3. Hard to reproduce, but sometimes it didn’t work at all. Especially at the start. E.g., create new segmentation, select wipe tool and try to draw by holding Ctrl.

To reproduce similar issue:

1. Create new segmentation
2. Select paint tool, draw a line across a slice.
3. Select wipe tool, roughly delete part of the line drawn.
4. Click “Ctrl” to reverse action of the wipe tool and try to draw somewhere else. The previously deleted part reappears.
