[Image Statistics Bundle] Runtime Exception: Masking not possible for non-closed figures

Description

When selecting an non-closed figure, draw e.g. with the measurement "Draw paths" tool, a red message appears inside the statistics view (same label as normally used for calculating message) notifying: "Exception occurred. See log for details".

Inside the Log window you can find:
Error Runtime Exception: Masking not possible for non-closed figures

May be good to catch exceptions but not very useful for end-time users...
Probably there should be an QMessageBox or something equal!

What is the status of this bug? Please change the target milestone to "AfterNextRelease" if this bug is not relevant or cannot be fixed in time for the 2013-06 release.

This bug could not be fixed for release 2013-06. Setting target milestone to next release

This bug seems to be fixed. In case of none closed planar figures a line profile is drawn in the statistics view
