The names of properties eventually change, like

meta.GradientDirections --> DWMRI.GradientDirections

This leads to the situation, that scene-files saved before renaming cannot be loaded properly (in the case above, the image is not recognized as diffusion-weighted image).

One option would be to have some service for validation of property lists, that would accept a N..1 mappings of <old_names>..<current_property_name> and ensure that all properties have their current names.
