Python wrapping support for modules

Description

Based on SWIG new python bindings should be created.

  • Starting only with selected module parts usefull in our scritpting projects (e.g. IOUtil).
  • First draft for suitable cmake infrastructure supporting the wrapping.

The work of @goetzm is far more advanced and a better starting point for any further developments. Closing that task as obsolete/outdate for that reason.
