[Segmentation] Is the classificationsegmentation-plugin used / required?

Description

I've never seen it in real use and just stumbled upon it again (org.mitk.gui.qt.classificationsegmentation).
What is the purpose of this plugin, who is maintaining / using it and do we need the functionality?

I tried clicking different buttons and crashes happen regularly.
