start MITK workbench

Observed Result:
On the button right is the memory usage displayed. It says that I’m using 34,98 GB (218,61%)… (I only have 16GB physical memory)

This is also the case by the official version – just that you know. On the button right is the memory usage displayed. This is as expected, since we are not an officially proven developer by Apple.

The last part with the high physical memory however *is* an issue. I reopen and rename this task.

Besides some maintenance work along the road, I verified the process memory report on Windows and matched it to the GNOME system monitor memory report on Linux.

To do: macOS memory report.

On macOS, the workbench shows exorbitant amounts of memory usage.

However, Activity Monitor shows a reasonable value.
