In the 'old' interaction framework there was a kind of consistency check for statemachine patterns that were loaded from XML.
If I remember correctly, there were various checks that tested the consistency of the XML declaration, e.g. are there any states that you cannot reach or cannot get out from.

These checks have not yet been implemented in the new framework. Should be done.
