The SliceNavigationController has a method SelectSliceByPoint that is given a Point3D and selects the slice that is closest to this point.
Depending on where on a slice the point is located, the wrong slice may be selected.

This is a bug in the core of the toolkit. Could be worth integrating into the release if it's not too late.
