Works for me.
My workflow was:

• (Set time step via e.g. the new Sliders from Alex or BasicImageProcessing)
• Create a segmentation on a non-zero time step via shape model.

Used image:
T:\3M3 Demodaten\Organsegmentierung (Daniel M.)\DataSet_Lung_3D.pic.gz
Used Model: Lung Left.

• A binary image is created at this time step.
• It can be edited without problems with the contouring tools.
