QmitkMultiLabelInspector (but also the statistic view) could highlight the labels that are indicated by the mouse position (when it is over the widget) in the renderwindow.
Idea would be e.g. to make all labels more transparent but the label instances that are currently indicated by the mouse position (e.g. whole group, all instances of a label, a instance).
