Load an image, create a new segmentation and change to color to blue ( or some other then red ). Use the Paint (or Wipe) tool.

In the case the light-blue color is selected, the resulting contour is colored pink ( as a mixture of the red for active segmentation and the light blue of the helper node used for paint tool ).
