As part of the Navigation documentation T19736, the documentation should be revised. Suggestion:

This step should contain an explanation to all plugins of the igt module, but in contrast to the introduction step (pure usage, see T19739), here we should focus on the code. Explain important steps like the microservices, functions of tools, concepts, etc. Any advanced clue of the navigation module should have a place here. Also, we link to all of the plugins. These are revised in separate steps to keep the work packages simple.

At the moment, the new structure is not included in the master, have a look at the branches of T19736.
