DIPP crashes when trying to extract statistics of ROIs of AUC maps
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

MITK(DIPP-2016.10.9000-win64) crashes when trying to get statistics values of ROIs of AUC-maps.

AUC maps are generated by absolut signal-to-concentration-conversion of DCE-MRI data and subsequent calculation of AUC per pixel using "Perfusion Curve Description Parameters Views". ROIs are drawn on AUC maps. When trying to get the statistics of one ROI by selecting the AUC map and the respective ROI and chosing the "Statistics" window, MITK crashes.

It does work in DIPP-2015.11.9003-win64.

@bendinge: To clarify, if it is a problem in the MITK code base or the DIPP-Additions, could you please do the following:

  • Test it with the official MITK
    1. Save your AUC image and your ROI as nrrd-Images to the hard disc.
    2. Use the official MITK to load both images
    3. Test the statistic plugin. Does it work?
  • Test it with a newer DIPP version (I will send you the down load link)
    1. First option: Use the same files like MITK
    2. Second option: Generate them directly in the new DIPP version and check the statstic.

I have tested it with some Perfusion data on a recent DIPP version and cannot reproduce the problem (but found another one T23114 ;)).
I am curious what your tests will result in.

@debusc : Have you seen something like this?

@floca : Extracting AUC statistics works in the new DIPP version (2017.059000) and in MITK. Thanks! :)

Concerning T23114: When I tried it, it already crashed when I started the segmentation plugin, in both DIPP and MITK. I never noticed this before because I always did my segmentations on the frame of time point 0.
