InteractiveSegmentation offered a simple global thresholding tool to create a segmentation. org.mitk.gui.qt.segmentation does not offer this tool so far.

We need a decision on the usefulness of this tool and whether or not it should be offered in the new bundle. So far the bundle is structured into manual, organ and lesion segmentation. Global thresholding would not fit any of these.

My personal opinion is that thresholding is of minimal use to end users. However, I am not a user and would welcome opionions on this tool.
