Installation of SAM via Preferences needs a system python path from the user. In the case when a wrong path is provided, installation simply doesn't start. That's ok.
Also currently, there no explicit error message shown why. Showing an explicit message e.g. Python not found on why the installation didn't start would improve the usability.
