Cannot launch MITK application

Description

Die neue Version von MITK lässt sich nach Computerneustart nicht mehr öffnen.

Fehlermeldung: "Runtime error. This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusal way. Please contact the application support team for more informations."

Auch nach nochmaliger Installation erneut gleiches Problem nach Computerneustart. Direkt nach der Installation (VOR Neustart!) problemlose Funktion der Software.

I already took a quick look, deletion of AppData/DKFZ does not help ... I am not sure, what we are facing here.

Platform?

Most likely Windows, nothing else has an AppDAta/DKFZ folder.

Have you tried running it as Administrator?

Also could you compare the %PATH% variable after installation vs the one after reboot?

By the way, which of the following does "newest version of MITK" mean:

  • The 2012 Release of MITK Diffusion
  • Self build current master
  • One of the nightly installers
