When working with multilabel segmentations the active label is always drawn with a contour/outline. This outline is sometimes disturbing because it covers the border of the segmentation and thus makes id difficult to see whether the object of interest is actually captured accurately.
Suggestion:
add a toggle for enabling/disabling the contour in the currently selected label

This is already possible in the Properties view but I guess it is a good candidate to be more accessible from within the segmentation view or preference page.
This function is also available in the preferences (Ctrl+P). There, just select "Draw as transparent overlay" (see image below).
