The welcome part is a helpful feature for people new to MITK. The main idea is to provide first information about the idea of using particular working modes suited to specific medical working task. Links to web pages showing external documentation and further information of mitk such as the mitk.org homepage are possible.

The welcome part shows a html page, which is styled by an external css stylesheet file.

It needs to be discussed how the html welcome page should look like. For now the test welcome html page shows some example screenshots of working modes. More screenshots have to be taken and integrated within an uniform design. Furthermore a short description of each working mode should be written below the particular working mode screenshot.
