Some special images (the attached one and the test data set P0214_scaled_0.55_0.55_0.55.pic.gz) are not passed through the MITK rendering pipeline. The GenerateData()/Update() methods of the new mitkImageVtkMapper2D are not called and as a consequence they are not rendered.

To reproduce this, it is important to not load any other images. However, the old Paint() method of the old iil rendering is called.

An assumption is that the geometry of the images is corrupted or they are "catched" elsewhere.
