I have been unable to reproduce this bug. Daniel, could you describe the steps you took to produce this bug? Could you also be more specific in what the error looks like?

Load DICOM image located in MITK-Data/TiltHead.
Open Segmentation plugin and create a new segmentation.
Use the Add tool to draw something.
(Seems to) work only in the coronal window.
