FIX (#2510): ITK 3.16 compatibility needs changes in MITK code. In ITK 3.16 itkMesh does not return a smartpointer anymore, so the code had to be adapted to work with the new ITK version as well as with previous versions.

Every program logic remains the same, only the GUI is ported from QT3 to QT4. The old .svg image containing the 4 icons has to be split up into 4 single .xpm icons because .svg is not supported by QT4 anymore. The new QT4 widget will be added to the status bar as permanent widget in QmitkWorkbenchWindowAdvisor, so that it is always shown in the lower right corner of the status bar.

Fixed in revision: 18525.

Can be solved by porting the old QT3 GUI to QT4.

Actually, the pyramidal part needs some good ideas on how to include it into the rigid registration module. Because of the user-unfriendlyness and because this module belongs to the open-source part of MITK the pyramidal part was removed from the GUI for 3M3. Has to be readded with a user-friendly GUI.

Fixed by changing behaviour for fast mouse movements. Introduced an additional velocityScaling to increase and decrease upper and lower threshold faster.

Because we never show more than one resection proposal at the same time there is no need to think about more colors for them (actually it is not easy to find so many colors which can be distinguished easily and also look nice). As far as I can see, all necessary things have their defined colors.
