The Bug cant be fixed at the moment without loosing the python unit tests.When the module is set to auto load the unit tests can't be run anymore.

This is a problem of the CTK python console. It can't be fixed directly in MITK.

Bug seems to be resolved in 18748

The problem still remains when installing the gcc proposed in bug: 18855

The context->GetService<mitk::IPythonService>(m_PythonServiceRef) call fails with the exception: "Default constructed ServiceReference is not a valid input to GetService()". The same code works without any problems on unix.

When using the build in python run time that is build during the superbuild process the following error occurs while starting MitkPython: ImportError: No module named site

The build in Python only works in release mode, since in debug "d" is added at the end of every library and the runtime can't load them. SimpleITK is build against the system numpy and not against the one from the build in python. This results in the following error:

Currently we fixed the build and unit tests for all system and ported the UI to QT 5, but Qt5 builds are not supported at the moment. The new PythonQt project that supports Qt5 has no cmake build system, and can't be integrated into the CTK Superbuild at the moment. All necessary changes to support the new PythonQt were already added into CTK.

When setting the background levels of the slice to extract the value range of the image is not modified by the vtkImageResclicer for arbitrary oriented slices. For standard planes the image still gets normalized.
In mitkExtractSliceFilter.cpp:234 the background level is hardcored to -2^15.
However this range is needed to render opaque images. Mitk will handle the values by adjusting the level window in the render window.
But this won't work when using the ExtractSlice filter outside the MITK rendering.
A solution could by the add a setter for the background levels that can be used if desired.

Didn't saw the scope class. We should move it to a seperate header and use it in the other readers.

I looked into the class hierarchy. The classes are inherited from different superclasses, mitk::IFileReader/mitk::AbstractFileReader or mitk::FileReader. To extract the locale functionality it would be nice if all readers are implementing the same interface.

Already got it and running the tests. At the moment there is no generic functionality for all readers, e.g. the same 3 lines of code are copy&pasted in every reader.

It's a python bug. MITK builds python 2.7 in the superbuild.
Your build want's to include the python config from your installed python 3.4 version which seems to be a bug in build/install scripts.

The crash occurs upon loading DICOM RT images in debug mode. If the image is loaded by the mitk::DicomSeriesReader it expects more than one file. If only one file is found the application quits on the assert in line 1665.

At the moment due to the changes in the build system and the debug suffix "_d" on the shared libraries debug also doesn't work on unix anymore.

Deleting the vtkActor in line 584 in the mitk::PlaneGeometryDataVtkMapper3D::ActorInfo::~ActorInfo() causes the bug.

Same error occurs when building an installer from the actual master on Windows.

The file : RecordedNavigationData.xml is only displayed when using global reinit.
