(Michi): the problem occurs when no other editor is left. e.g. when the welcome screen is opened as well and the multiwidget gets closed, everything is fine. thus, it is no problem of MITK/ITK/VTK but maybe a BlueBerry related problem related to the placement of qt widgets in the editors placeholder

Saving after modification of hotkeys is solved by T4556.
The hotkeys are working if the Datamanager is activated.

We tried this on our x64 win7 corei7 machine, when the "object browser" bundle was activated, it appeared. After deactivation, it was completely removed. So, the bug could not be reproduced here. You could try to delete cmake cache. Supposingly this is a mac problem only, please check this.

We decided to remove the tab, because it is obsolete. But we do not where.

By debugging this issue our system (Windows 7, 64bit) completly freezed down. Maybe a Linux or Mac user can have a look at this bug (or we use the WONTFIX option).

We tried a "tiny" image with dimensions 3x3x1 and spacing 0.5x0.5x0.5 and Pic3D; MITK doesnt crash and interactions work.

The patch include all changes and solves the dependency to core issue. Unfortunatly Drag'n'Drop for *.mitk scene files can not be restored. This is cause of the QmitkStdMultiWidgetEditor which uses the core dependend QmitkDnDFrameWidget. Copying the StdMultiWidget as well seems not to be a clean solution.
Other dependencies to DnDFrameWidget exist in DataManagerView and ImageNavigatorView which have no core dependency...
